Overview:
The primary role of the Sr. BI Data Modeler & Administrator is to create process and procedure for better administration of the banks business intelligence platforms and to help setup and optimize data models and maintain data integrity. This role will be responsible for Business Intelligence system security, user administration, report deployment, migration and scheduling. The BI Data Modeler & Admin reports to the Enterprise Data Management team and works regularly with other members within the Bank.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the business intelligence platforms used by the bank
  • Implement data models that provide business friendly, transformed data to be used for “self-serve” report creation and visualizations
  • Assist in managing data as a strategic asset by assisting in the building and maintaining of data models and BI tools to increase the availability and accuracy of data throughout the organization
  • Work with infrastructure team on upgrades/updates/Installations and communicate accordingly to stakeholders on the environment availability.
  • Carry out POC’s for new tools and evaluate the fitment of the software to the business use cases.
  • Lead self-service initiative and bring in operational efficiency.
  • Support the effort of BI tools rationalization and also self-service initiative.
  • Performance optimization of the reports.
  • Create operational metrics on the report usage, users.
  • Work with core processor to troubleshoot and resolve BO/Report Schedule outage
  • Maintain/monitor/schedule BIC reports using BIC scheduler
  • Assist with implementation of new products or existing product enhancements and conversions
  • Build and maintain productive relationships within the organization
  • Perform other duties and /or projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in data management, business administration, information technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with a business intelligence platforms working with data models, including the optimization and administration of a BI platform.
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Power BI, Azure, Excel and SAP Business Intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of business intelligence tools and data modeling, optimization and administration of a BI platform.
  • Implement the best practices and bring in innovation to the process.
  • Work with vendors on the use cases and support tool adoption.
  • Ability to migrate from one BI tool to the other.
  • Have implementation knowledge on the advanced visualization and analytics. Able to prioritize and execute task in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Available to support on call after business hours.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Role requires sitting or standing in front of a computer monitor for prolonged periods of time in a fixed neck position.
  • Constant use of a computer or other office equipment resulting in repeating motions of the hands and wrists.
  • Light work that may include moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Rewards

National Base Pay Range (annual): $97,468.80 to $146,203.20
Final salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with geographic/market data.
