What You'll Do
The Content Team at BambooHR pinpoints topics that are deeply important to our target audience and crafts unique, irresistible stories that matter. As Content Marketing Manager, you'll play a critical role in implementing our content strategy across the marketing team and beyond.
We're looking for a super collaborative, curious, creative, measurement-obsessed marketer who can calmly build programs and processes even when there's ambiguity. We're all about designing for scale while driving and proving the business value of our content. This is a fun role with lots of potential for growth as we shape the content function together and lay the groundwork for a best-in-class program for years to come.
You will:
- Drive and manage the editorial calendar and build smart processes across the organization.
- Oversee content marketing initiatives and production across key teams and channels to drive impressions, engagement, traffic, and leads that deliver sales + customer retention.
- Measure and optimize programs regularly to make sure we're not getting stuck in a rut. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best content marketing practices to help us continually get better.
- Find new, creative opportunities and scrappy ways to do more with each piece of content. Bring bold ideas that will make a big impact, even if they challenge the way we've been doing things.
- You'll do what it takes to learn all about our target audience, what they care about, how to create it, where to promote it, and how to measure it. Give regular presentations on our content program and results.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- 5-8 years experience creating and managing content for the web and increasing target audience engagement.
- Sharp project management skills with an understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
- Customer-obsessed editorial mindset
- Proven success using content to meet business objectives. Experience in demand generation is a plus!
- Deeply collaborative with the confidence to ask questions and play devil's advocate to help find the best solution
- Excellent analysis and persuasive writing skills: able to present content plans and performance during team meetings or in written updates
