10 Month Contract (perm potential)

Lexington, MA - Hybrid Schedule (1 - 2 days onsite a month)

Pay Rate: TBD

Mandatory experience for this position: Candidates should have at least 5 years of current inventory accounting experience in either healthcare or pharma industries. Experience should also include:

• Candidates will need to explain how they reconcile the inventory workflow
• Experience with calculating “work in progress inventory” and processing inventory movements
• Candidates need to be able to explain how the inventory flow works

Experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with ERP systems and applications
• Experience with month-end close activities, journal entries, adjustments, and accruals
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent collaboration and customer service
• Advanced level accounting skills
• Advanced level MS Office skills including Excel, Outlook Word
• General Ledge Systems experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Month-end accruals, journal entries, BS account reconciliations, analysis and reporting.
• Perform additional accounting and reporting tasks as required to support the department.
• Responsible for the monthly close and related tasks for Inventory Accounting
• Proficient with cost allocation models
• General Accounting (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, analysis, reporting)
• Payroll related calculations for monthly journal entries and postings to ERP system
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Census survey filings
• Support the external auditors in periodic testing and account analysis requests.
• Perform other accounting, financial and administrative tasks as may be required to back-up and support the accounting team.?
