Position: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Elkhart, Indiana

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor degree / Master Degree in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing
• Years of experience: Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Should be able to co-ordinate and communicate effectively to various stake holders like customer, sales, senior management, offshore team and vendors
• Should conduct plant assessments & understand customer requirements and define DOU / SOW
• Should support in preparing RFQ/RFIs to vendors and should evaluate vendor quotes
• Coordinate offshore & vendor teams based on project requirement

• Should be able to define and implement Risk & Mitigation plans

Skills required:

Must:

• End-to-end Automation project execution experience
• Automation high level concept Preparation

• Due diligence assessment, Gap analysis, Conceptual Design, layout development, design feasibility assessment, Plant assessments
• Low cost automation, Fixture design, SPM & Testing machine knowledge
• Process Automation, Material handling & Movement solutions
• Assembly, Pick & place, Vision and Inspection automation
• Validating FAT & SAT test procedures.

Good:

• Automation ROM & BOM high level estimation

• Knowledge of Robotics automations will be added advantage.

• Industry experience – Truck & Off Highway Manufacturing. (any other industry will be added advantage)

• Vendor Management & RFQ to Vendors

Skillset Keywords:

End-to-end project execution in assembly line automation, Custom engineered solution, High level concept development, Mfg line automation, Material handling & Movement solutions, Low cost automation, System Integration, Erection & Site Commissioning and RFQ management

Software Skills:

Autocad, Catia V5/Solidworks

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
