Summary:

The Sr. Product Marketing Manager (PM) will help drive downstream marketing initiatives in support of the innovative Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR) procedure for Silk Road Medical. With the Vascular Surgery community as the primary customer, the PM will work closely with regulatory, sales and therapy awareness teams to develop and launch best in class products and sales tools for physician customers and our field sales organization.

The candidate in this position will work closely with health care professionals and the Silk Road Medical Sales organization to conceive, develop, and launch new products, programs, and sales tools to accelerate adoption of the TCAR procedure for the treatment of carotid artery disease. Listed below are some of the key deliverables for the Silk Road Product Manager:


Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with members of the marketing and sales teams to develop, launch & reinforce sales campaigns through engagement with the company’s field sales organization and health care professionals.
  • Engage with the Silk Road Medical sales organization and health care professionals to support a deeper understanding of our products, procedure and outcomes.
  • Support the planning and execution of new product launches.
  • Attend trade shows and events to capture physician feedback and promote the TCAR procedure.
  • Comply with all regulatory and clinical requirements in marketing materials and messaging.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Marketing and senior staff of Silk Road Medical.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of related experience in the medical device industry, preferably in the vascular specialty.
  • Record of success developing effective working relationships with medical device sales professionals and health care providers.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Professional work ethic, strong organizational skills, and ability to operate independently.
  • Sales experience is an asset.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.
