Job Summary:
SHI has an exciting opportunity available in our Managed Workplace Services departments a Sr. Project Manager. The Sr. Project Manager will manage the largest and most complex projects for the customers of MW services. The Sr. Project Manager will serve as a subject matter expert within SHI’s service portfolio and will also provide guidance and mentorship to Project Manager I’s and II’s.

This position will report to a Manager – PMO within the Managed Workplace Services department.

This position is a remote position with a Home Office setup.

Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing multiple resources, either internal SHI consultants or partners
  • Assembling the delivery team and creating, maintaining, and executing to a project plan
  • Overseeing and tracking outstanding action items of multiple contacts within the project
  • Conducting status meetings
  • Reporting on status throughout the lifecycle of the project to multiple internal and external contacts
  • Schedule and facilitate the kickoff and closing meetings
  • Tracking deliverables of the project
  • Assisting the sales team in preparing Statements of work (SOW)
  • Ensure delivery of scope of services are met as defined within the SOW
  • Providing costing input to the SOW when needed
  • Managing customer projects with a largest complexity and size
  • Interacting with Senior and C level mgmt.
  • Manage projects with highest complexity of financials and multiple work streams
  • Actively contributes to process improvements for the PMO
  • Mentorship of PM1 and PM2 proficiencies in knowledge area for PMO
Qualifications:
  • Experience or related experience as a project manager
  • Understand Project Manager as defined by the PMBOK Working knowledge of IT concepts: security, servers, storage, cloud computing, and disaster recovery
  • PMP Certification is required or relevant work experience
  • Understanding the application of problem resolution skills
  • 8-10 years project management experience
Required Skills:
  • Strong people management and verbal communication skills
  • Have project management skills: define, assign owners, and manage tasks, escalate issues, manage status meetings
  • Understanding and application of problem resolution skills
  • Proficiency in MS office tools – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to develop and implement PM processes in support of the project
  • Ability to read a contract/Statements of Work and understand the organization's commitment to the customer for product and services, contractual obligations and requirements in the delivery of services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: responsive to the customer and able to get internal colleagues and partners to complete their tasks in a timely fashion
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to clearly and concisely communicate with customer , manage expectations, define actions, tasks and processes to all parties
  • Planning skills/project management skills
  • Ability to serve as a mentor to other members of the team

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in IT delivery and operations
  • Experience in managing a team
Certifications Required:
  • PMP Certification or relevant work experience
Unique Requirements:
  • Travel to onsite locations as needed
Additional Information:
  • FLSA: Exempt
  • The estimated pay range for this position in Colorado is $90,000 -$150,000, which includes a base salary and bonuses. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location, and therefore will vary from individual to individual. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
