The Job Responsibilities


This role will be the SAP Key User for the entire NA Region both Medical and Safety business units, with the responsibility of working with our global counterparts on implementation and testing of SAP functionality. The position will be responsible for the functional requirements of the NA sales process from order entry to invoicing. They will document and train all Users on SAP and will be held accountable for analysis, testing and modifications of the SAP system. This role will serve as the point of contact for all global SAP implementations and project based requirements.

  • Responsible for understanding the needs of the business and Users and modifying the system to support those needs. Troubleshoot all SAP system related issues - collaborating with Lubeck, if necessary, inform and escalate to management where required. Also, collaborating with other departments within the US sites for smooth and timely communication/updates.
  • Apply specialized knowledge to special projects as required; continue training on new products and process improvements to reflect the changing environment; and serve as contact person for Internal and External Audits to facilitate communication and interactions
  • Take responsibility for the NA Support Portal and all Key Users associated with the submittal process. Execute the NA Support Portal strategic vision.
  • Serve as the single point of contact to our Luebeck office for all upcoming projects, implementations, issue resolution and testing.
  • Train all new hires in SAP - requesting appropriate SAP access & supplying training material. Provide refresher training to all team members as needed and as requested in US (Telford, Houston and Coppell) and Canada. Update on new processes and training material as needed or when available.
  • Responsible to create ad-hoc reporting as requested by other departments and by Manager for month-end reporting to aid in decision support for these stakeholders.
  • Create sales views in SAP for parts that are missing – notifying requestor(s).
  • Adjusting pricing changes in SharePoint and/or entering pricing in SAP based on the requests, interacting with Marketing. Sending yearly pricing changes to Lubeck.
  • Provide training, as requested, to other departments (Marketing etc.) to ensure the communication and knowledge needs of these groups is fulfilled.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Your Qualifications


Education:

High School graduate or equivalent education, training & experience; Bachelor degree preferred.

Related Experience:

  • 3+ years working in SAP a must
  • Documentation experience preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of Customer Service experience
  • Prior experience with detail level follow up
