Scope of Position:
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner will establish and foster a consultative relationship with EDF Renewables hiring managers in order to recruit for and hire the best candidates for various early career to leadership roles. They are responsible for full life-cycle recruitment activities, including but not limited to, reviewing skill set needs with hiring managers, advertising and promoting of open positions, candidate sourcing/screening, conducting phone screens, interviewing applicants, obtaining job offer approvals, negotiating employment offers and facilitating the new-hire process. Typical job requisition load is 20 to 30 job requisitions. EDF talent acquisition team members work closely with other members of the human resources team to include HR Business Partners, Compensation, HRIS, Organizational Development, and Employee Engagement. Position reports directly to Director - Talent Acquisition.
Responsibilities:
  • Work directly with the hiring leaders and HR Business Partners to identify needs, workforce planning strategies, and search assignments.
  • Execute on core recruitment processes to include candidate selection, job offer formulation, candidate closing, and all administrative components within an applicant tracking system.
  • Lead intake meetings with hiring managers in order to build overall understanding of position requirements, department goals, and organization business plan.
  • Provide high-touch candidate care in a manner that fosters transparency, simplicity and respect.
  • Build a strong professional pipeline with a focus on our industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with EDF leaders, community organizations, universities, and diverse professional organizations to create a partnership that yields favorable results.
  • Use a variety of resources to source candidates: job boards, cold calling, creative candidate searches, social media, applicant tracking system search, and employee referral program.
  • Compile reports and make recommendations on continuous improvement efforts and track effectiveness of sourcing methods.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline. A minimum of 5+ years of full-cycle, technical recruitment experience is required.

Work experience needs to include working with client leaders at various levels and also partnering with HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence (COE) such as Compensation.

  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) iCIMS ATS experience preferred.
  • High level expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, especially with MS Outlook and Excel.
  • Knowledgeable of state of California and federal employment laws.
  • Experience with diversity outreach and recruitment.
  • Renewable energy/energy industry experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Normal office environment. The work mode for this position is hybrid. Position is based in the Carmel Mountain Ranch/Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego, CA.


Salary Range: $79,050.00 - $131,750.00 annually
