Staff Accountant
Full-Time

Remote/Hybrid

Blue Sky Therapy is looking for a full-time Staff Accountant near the Moundsville, West Virginia area. Blue Sky Therapy is a key provider of therapy services in multiple settings to include Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health, and In-Home Part B.

Position Overview: Blue Sky Therapy is looking for a Staff Accountant who will provide accounting and financial support to ensure adequate internal controls and efficiency of procedures and processes within the Accounting department, which ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and accounting. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years accounting experience.

Responsibilities Include:

Accounts payable entry and reconciliation

Process customer invoices and manage collections
Input journal entries and perform reconciliations

Assist in tax filings such as monthly use tax, quarterly CAT tax, and 1099s

Assist with general ledger accounting and period close activities
Assist with payroll as needed

Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Accounting or Finance degree preferred
At least three years of experience in accounting preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills. Sage Intacct experience a plus.

Able to demonstrate attention to detail, good record keeping and problem solving.

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to stay on schedule and meet tight organizational deadlines.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and to prioritize under deadlines.

Team player who can collaborate with other teams in the organization.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management.

Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Healthcare experience a plus.
