CareStar, Inc. is currently seeking a Staff Accountant in the Finance Department to provide accounting, financial, administrative, and analytical services.
THE POSITION
CareStar is looking for motivated individuals who/to:
- Review general ledger accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
- Participate in the month-end workpaper preparation process.
- Post monthly accruals.
- Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including timely preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
- Possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Possesse two (2) or more years previous accounting experience with working knowledge of generally acceptable accounting principles.
- Proven and effective interpersonal skills with respect for others, including consumers, co-workers and other professionals within a diverse work environment.
- Adheres to the CareStar Rule in performance of job responsibilities.
- Understands and complies with CareStar Policies and Procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality as related to patient information. Any disclosures of confidential information made unlawfully outside the proper course of duty will be treated as a serious disciplinary offense.
- Follows the Acceptable Use Policy while using any information systems owned or controlled by CareStar, Inc.
This position will be located in our Cincinnati Corporate Office at 5566 Cheviot Road, Cincinnati, OH 45247.
