Live out your purpose at Evolve Treatment Centers! We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team our corporate office in El Segundo, CA!

At Evolve Treatment Centers, we provide the highest caliber of behavioral health care for adolescents 12 to 17 years old struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues.

The main responsibilities of the Staff Accountant position will include maintaining financial records and reports, performing month end closing & account reconciliations, and maintaining all documentation. You will be assisting other team members and doing ad hoc reporting as needed. The ideal candidate with have a hands-on approach, be detailed orientated, a team player and inquisitive in nature.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform month end closing with end- to-end accounting abilities
• Experience with all standard systems in closing – Cash, AR, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accruals, Payroll, Debt & Equity
• Assist with management of the accounts payable system and credit card expense reporting
• Assist with daily bank reconciliation and cash flow reporting
• Perform bi-weekly payroll processing
• Help with management of fixed asset register
• Assist with reconciliation of subsidiary general ledger

• 1-2+ years as a Staff Accountant, preferably in the healthcare industry, or 2 to 4 years at a CPA firm
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, SUMIF & SUMIFS a must)
• Experience with NetSuite is preferred
• Strong financial communication skills

This is a full time, in office position.
