STATUS: Part Time
Position Summary:
The Campbell University Department of Music is seeking applications for a part-time collaborative pianist to accompany vocal ensembles, August 24, 2022 – April 26, 2023. The position may be filled by one person or shared by more than one.
The requirements of the position are:
- Provide accompaniment on the piano for the University Choir and/or Opera Theater and/or the University Choral Society and/or Campbell Voices in rehearsals and performances
- Ability to work well with the vocal ensemble directors
- Ability to sight read well is preferred
The education/expeirence requirements for the position are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music. Work experience or education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Two years of experience as a collaborative pianist
- High level of technical and musical accomplishment on the piano, determined by an audition
