As a Stamping Press Operator on our winning team, the following are the most important requirements of the job you will be performing:

  • You will be tasked with operating heavy-duty power presses that form or cut metal
  • Using measuring instruments and hand tools, you will confirm and set the proper shut height of our press machines
  • You will make sure the press die is properly installed, secured and centered before beginning operations
  • You take pride in your work and perform quality checks on the parts you are producing
  • You practice good housekeeping and make sure that the press and surrounding areas are free of debris and oil spills before the end of the shift
  • Safety comes first. You are focused on maintaining and exceeding standards on all safety practices and requirements
  • You are a part of a team and we value your input – you may be involved in safety committees or other inter-Company initiatives
  • You will have other job responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Position Requirements:
Regular attendance, including being on time and ready to work at assigned start time.
  • Great attitude and team player
  • Ability to work assigned overtime, at times with short notice
  • Successful completion of the Ramsay Corporation Combined Basic Skills Assessment which evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, and process monitoring & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to find, enter, and print information on a computer as necessary
  • Ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision and hearing, as well as mobility and lifting requirements
  • Additional requirements based on what machine a candidate would be using and the skills needed to operate (if applicable)
