As a Stamping Press Operator on our winning team, the following are the most important requirements of the job you will be performing:
- You will be tasked with operating heavy-duty power presses that form or cut metal
- Using measuring instruments and hand tools, you will confirm and set the proper shut height of our press machines
- You will make sure the press die is properly installed, secured and centered before beginning operations
- You take pride in your work and perform quality checks on the parts you are producing
- You practice good housekeeping and make sure that the press and surrounding areas are free of debris and oil spills before the end of the shift
- Safety comes first. You are focused on maintaining and exceeding standards on all safety practices and requirements
- You are a part of a team and we value your input – you may be involved in safety committees or other inter-Company initiatives
- You will have other job responsibilities as assigned by leadership

- Ability to work assigned overtime, at times with short notice
- Successful completion of the Ramsay Corporation Combined Basic Skills Assessment which evaluates your reading, math, inspection & measurement, and process monitoring & problem-solving skills

- Ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision and hearing, as well as mobility and lifting requirements
- Additional requirements based on what machine a candidate would be using and the skills needed to operate (if applicable)
