Job Responsibilities
- Receive purchased material and checking purchase order against packing slip for accuracy.
- Ensure the storeroom is organized as directed.
- Issue materials to employees, issue returns for unused material
- Return material to vendor or shipping parts out for repair.
- Inventory supplies to identify reorder needs, etc.
- Locate stock and deliver items to their destination outside of storeroom upon request.
- Maintain close communication with supervisor regarding all issues and concerns.
- Driving company truck as needed to pick up parts and supplies.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment for repairs and maintenance items preferred.
- Clerical skills – working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, etc.
- Customer Service Skills – with heavy employee interaction.
- Ability to learn and demonstrate proficiency in part identification.
- High School Diploma
- Basic math skills
- Clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Frequent walking and standing
- Carrying/lifting of up to 40 pounds, unassisted
- Occasionally using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment
- Exposure to heat, cold, dust, chemicals
