Posting Summary
Provide primary advising for first year and sophomore Grossman School of Business (GSB) students in addition to other undergraduate GSB students. Oversee advising processes, including advising presentations, group advising sessions and student outreach related to registration. Coordinate special programs, including commencement and honors day. Collaborate with Center for Student Success team members to participate in initiatives which support recruitment, retention, advising, and career outcomes for all business majors and minors.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and two to four years’ experience to include working with students, counseling, or related experience required. Knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and database applications required. Effective organizational, communication, team collaboration, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail required. Demonstrated multicultural competence and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment. Ability to demonstrate adaptability to change required.

Desirable Qualifications
Experience and knowledge of student information systems and advising platforms highly desirable. Experience with event management, programming, and implementation desirable. Experience with college student personnel desirable.

External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Occasional overtime/weekend hours required, Bargaining unit position
