Job description
The Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) helps individuals learn how to manage life issues and day-to- day living without the use of mood- or mind-altering substances or drugs. Program services promote recovery, self-sufficiency, development of support networks and other important life skills to enhance mental health and reduce the risk of needing inpatient treatment.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting IOP groups, individual counseling and psychoeducation as delineated via program licensure by Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH)/Health Facility Regulation (HFR).
- Follow established guidelines in Addictive Disease Program Plan.
- Individual counseling as clinically indicated.
- Complete SPD's, and all other supporting assessments, including UDS, & documentation for individuals affiliated with Bartow IOP.
- Follow-up calls with referrals and participation in Treatment/consultation/clinical team meetings.
- Complete monthly Treatment Plan reviews and discharge/transition person's served, as clinically indicated.
- IOP clinician conducting monthly audits for IOP staff.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Addictive Disease Operations, AD Regional Manager(s), as needed to meet expanding needs of individuals served.
- Bachelors Degree in Helping Field
- CACII, CADCII
- At least 1 year experience working in Mental Health or Substance Use disorder field
- Bilingual abilities a plus
