Job description
AMHC is advertising for a Substance Use (SU) Peer Support Specialist in our Saint John Valley area. This person is responsible for providing SU Peer Support Services to individuals who are either seeking SU recovery services, SU treatment services, or are in SU treatment. The SU Peer Support Specialist focuses on offering Peer Recovery Coaching within our AMHC designated services.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Must be in recovery and willing to self-identify
- valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Facilitate activities to build recovery skills
