Job description
- Works with Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed Recreation Supervisor to implement and execute summer camps.

Coordinates with the Summer School Principal to communicate with parents any building information needed

Communicates with parents on absences/pick up plans and any other pertinent student information.

Assist with any student needs as appropriate including special needs support or any support needed during class time.

Assists enrichment instructors in the classroom by providing classroom instruction and support when necessary.

Assists in the on-site management and keeping track of supplies and equipment for each camp.

Coordinates enrichment camp transitions during the day (8:30 a.m. start time, 11:45 a.m. lunchtime, 12:30 p.m. afternoon camp start time and end of day 3:30 p.m./after care begins).

Supervise on-site enrichment camp staff during the summer camp hours.

Works with enrichment camp staff members and Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed Recreation Supervisor to address student behavior issues

Be on call and available by phone between the hours of 4pm - 5pm for after care support should the need arise.
- The Summer Enrichment Camp Building Facilitator will supervise the teachers involved in the execution of the program.

Direct supervision and instruction of students in the classroom when necessary including but not limited to: staff absence, budgetary needs, student behavior needs, student adaptive needs.

Position Summary:
The Summer Enrichment Camp Program is offered through Parkway-Rockwood Community Ed in conjunction with Parkway summer school and is designed for elementary and middle school students who are interested in extended learning opportunities to explore their interests through fun, interactive camps. Each week, K-5 and 6-8 fee-based morning and afternoon camps will be offered at each summer school site for interested students. The program runs Monday- Friday June 12-June 30, 2023 from 8:15 a.m.-5 p.m. (aftercare runs until 5 p.m.) The Building Facilitator will oversee, coordinate, and support all Community Ed enrichment camps at an assigned location.
