Summary:
We are searching for a Supply Chain Analyst - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will provide analytical support to all supply chain domains (sourcing, purchasing, content, value analysis, inventory, warehouse) to support the organization in making better business decisions. In this data entry & analyst role, this person will have a deep understanding of one or more components of the ERP setup and data elements to support analytics and coordination as directed by the Manager.

Qualifications:
- Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children's unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
- Required Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or supply chain related
- Required 1-year business, project, supply chain, and/or healthcare experience
Responsibilities:
- Perform various analyst responsibilities related to spend management & utilization activities, as well as assisting in executing various supply chain processes upon onboarding and ongoing vendor lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to: controlling spending by category, conducting vendor management reviews, assisting in the sourcing/contracting process, make versus buy analysis, purchasing metrics for EDI optimization, master data reporting, and total cost of ownership analysis.
- Opportunity Identification. Utilize ERP and reporting within various modules to identify opportunities and report to assigned areas. These opportunities could be operational or financial. Conducts root cause analysis of budget or price variances within assigned categories monthly report findings to Category Manager(s) and applicable Managers in the Supply Chain. This includes analyzing price variances and demand differences.
- Vendor Onboarding and Contracting Support Responsibilities. Participate in 7-step Strategic Sourcing process as directed by the Category Manager assigned to the RFX event or Manager of Strategic Sourcing. Conduct market analysis at the direction of by Category Manager assigned to RFX event or Manager of Strategic Sourcing. Conduct response comparison to sourcing events within ERP to include pricing, qualifications, general information, service levels, etc.
- Ongoing Support Responsibilities of Vendors through Vendor Management, Purchasing Metrics, and Product Outage Support. Assist in vendor management business reviews or mitigation plans as directed by Category Managers and Manager of Strategic Sourcing. This includes, but not limited to: gathering vendor management internal and external questionnaires, compiling scorecards, creating agendas, participating in mitigation plans, and tracking the progress of mitigation plans or action items. Document vendor performance status within assigned categories for red, green, and yellow status within the SQM module of ERP.
- Analytical and Master Data Responsibilities. Interact with corporate and facility management teams to gather appropriate data, conduct analysis to identify and define problems and targets of opportunity for improvement because of data extraction from the ERP and boundary systems and make recommendations for improvement. Analyze large amounts of data to ensure data quality and work with partners on efficient data processes to help keep data governance practices in place.
- Responds to inquiries to the shared inbox and facilities coordination amongst the content team under the guidance of leadership. Generates and reviews reports and/or presentation materials that aid decision-making. Conduct training as needed with Supply Chain team members according to policies and procedures.
