Responsibilities
Circulating nurses work in hospitals and assist with operations and other surgical procedures by serving as an intermediary between the staff working in the operating room and the rest of the hospital. Circulating nurses have a variety of duties relating to this function. These duties include but are not limited to patient assessment, equipment and supplies, assisting the surgical team during procedure, and specimen processing.

.Recent operating room experience

Physically able to walk, stand, stoop and lift safely. Ability to work in an environment of frequent interruptions. Recent operating room experience. Ability to manage intra-operative care and complications. Accurate interpretation and use of unit-specific equipment. Recovery room or other critical care experience preferred. Computer skills required. Ability to read, speak and write English.
