Busy Oral Surgery office seeking Scheduling Coordinator. Candidate must have ability to communicate well with patients and team members. Dental or medical experience preferred.

$20-30/HR with Benefits

Responsibilities include:

Serves patients by greeting and helping them upon check in, scheduling appointments by phone, taking payments, and maintaining records and accounts.

• This position is primarily responsible for maintaining the clinic schedule by scheduling patients over the phone, obtaining patient demographics prior to the appointment, and confirming appointments.
• Strong telephone communication skills needed to talk with patients and referring offices.
• Welcomes patients and visitors in person with a warm smile and maintains a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Comforts patients by answering questions with effective and professional communication.
• Protects patients rights by adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Maintains confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information at all times.
• Checks insurance benefits for patients prior to their arrival. Also assists in A/R tasks and daily scanning.
• Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs.
• Works well with a professional team and adaptable to help where needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
