Summary: Individual will provide technical leadership for the installation and maintenance of the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, including surveillance equipment, cameras, cabling, recording, monitors, and electronic security devices. Must be available on a 24/7 basis to ensure continuous operation of the department in order to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• System Administrator experience.
• Hardware and networking experience.
• An Associate Degree, Computer Science Degree, Computer Engineering, or related field (preferred Bachelors).
• Four years installing & troubleshooting CCTV camera equipment, including floor placement and backend configuration in a casino environment. Avigilon certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of server installations.
• Knowledge of Windows Server Software.
• Proficient written, oral and computer communication skills sufficient to prepare clear and precise reports to senior management, external departments, regulators, and courts.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Supervision experience.
• Knowledge of NIGC Standards and Tribal State Compact.

Licensing Requirements:

Class III Gaming License

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintaining surveillance servers and computers.
• Installing and troubleshooting camera issues.
• Setting up the surveillance network and mapping the surveillance network.
• Working with Category Cable and terminations, and Fiber Optics.
• Knowledge of table games or compliance work preferred.
• Supervises and trains Surveillance staff in an ethical manner.
• Responsible for the installation and maintenance of CCTV equipment to ensure functionality through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
• Assists Director of Surveillance with departmental administrative duties as required.
• Maintains an effective relationship with Tribal and State Gaming Agents.
• Cooperates with other department managers on matters of mutual concern.
• Training technicians
• Performs other duties as they are assigned.

Physical/Mental Requirements:

• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a confined and low-light environment effectively
• Ability to lift 25-50lbs
• Vision sufficient to accurately view activities displayed on small video monitors
• Manual dexterity sufficient to effectively operate all surveillance equipment
• Ability to work any shift, overtime, holidays, and weekends

Working Conditions:

• May work in closed monitor room, on casino floor, or in designated equipment areas
• Smoke filled environment.
• Constantly in hot, cold, dry, noisy situations.
• Frequently working in confined or high places.
• Occasionally in contact with offensive odors or other hazards, dirty.
