About the Role

The Sustainability Team handles all sanitation for the back of house areas in the resort. This team works to ensure that our park is clean, sanitary and well maintained.

Role Description

• Ability to drive a pickup truck with trailer and have knowledge of operating an automatic and manual transmission.

• Responsible for emptying trash cans along the designated back of house route.

• Moves trash receptacles from designated back of house stops to inside our waste transfer station.

• Changes and replaces paper towels, toilet paper, soap, sanitizer, and other goods as required in all back of house restrooms.

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of designated restrooms as trained.

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of designated green rooms as trained.

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of designated back of house food & beverage locations as trained.

• Uses dry and liquid detergents and chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing.

• Ability to operate power washers, leaf blowers, and power washers to assist with the overall cleanliness of the resort.

• Notifies leadership team (team leads, managers) of any equipment or facility problems for corrective action.

• Performs related work on projects as deemed necessary or required.

About You

• Theme Park experience is preferred.
  
• Must be at least 18 years old.
  
• Requires the ability to effectively follow directions, observe, and remember details.
  
• Requires the ability to maintain a friendly, polite, service oriented demeanor.
  
• Effective decision-making skills are required.
  
• Must speak and read Basic English language.
  
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
  
• Willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings and weekends to support park operations
  
• Heavy Lifting over 50 lbs. is required.
  
• Must have a clean driving record, valid drivers license.
  
• Knowledge of small engine equipment is preferred:
  -Power washers
  -Leaf blowers
  -Street Sweepers
  -Trash compactors and trash receptacle tippers
  -Basic small tool knowledge
