SVP Commercial Lending

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals through outside sales and managing existing customer relationships. Contributes to the profitability and growth of the Bank by building, developing, and managing new and expanded client relationships with retail customers. Sources prospects and develops new customer relationships by selling appropriate bank products and services to those prospects and clients and identifying and successfully capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities and making appropriate referrals. Manages loan and portfolio credit quality. Manages and develops a team of Lenders.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Commercial background with Commercial lending experience preferred.
  • Excellent relationship management and business development/sales skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of credit and credit quality.
  • Advanced knowledge of bank products and services.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage
  • customer relationships.
  • Monitor pipeline (Loan in Process) report to ensure accuracy of pending loans.
  • Manage a team of Lenders.
  • Train and develop existing and new Lenders.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 15 years of experience in relationship management banking

Physical Requirements
