Swim Team Coach - New Brunswick

The Role:

The RWJ Fitness and Wellness Center of New Brunswick is looking for a seasoned, passionate, and reliable Swim Team Coach.

The primary duties of the Swim Team Coach include, but are not limited to:

• Coach swim practices using various training methods and techniques
• Ability to create training programs for children to improve on their swimming technique, stamina, speed, and cardio vascular endurance.
• Interact with students and parents
• The Swim Team Coach will coordinate skill level placements and communicate with students and parents about practices and scheduling
• Interact and coordinate with fellow swim team coaches and practice assignments and rotations
• Liaise with management to have productive discussions about the swim program
• Ability to teach all swim levels in group or private lessons
• Attend and lead swim meet competitions and other events

Head Swim Team Coach Qualifications:

• To be a swim instructor you must be American Red Cross WSI certified.
• Team player with good communication skills
• We offer a course to obtain American Red Cross WSI certification
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Warm and friendly disposition

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
