Summary:
Hospital Sisters Health System is building a Revenue Integrity team and looking for a seasoned revenue integrity leader to help drive this initiative forward. This system leadership position will report directly to the HSHS System VP Revenue Cycle with a system wide scope of ensuring accurate billing, charge capture and strategic pricing. HSHS is open to a hybrid work option if they reside within WI or IL. While this position offers a a hybrid work option, there will be required routine presence within our markets for all 15 hospitals (key locations will be Green Bay, WI and Springfield, IL). In addition to charge capture and accurate billing, this role is responsible for CDM maintenance. Key focus coming into this role will be building a high performing team consisting of CDM, Nurse Auditors, Charge Capture Specialists, Credentialing Coordinators and Revenue Coding Analyst.
The ideal candidate is seasoned collaborative mission driven leader with a strong operational foundation in revenue cycle that is comfortable leading revenue integrity activities within a matrix healthcare environment. This leader must have passion for continuous transformation and innovation synergistic with HSHS Mission and Values for the entire healthcare system.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of progressive leadership within revenue cycle operations required
  • 5 years of revenue cycle experience, 2 of which must be in Revenue Integrity and/or coding
  • Epic EMR knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare provider regulations required
  • Hospital Billing experience highly preferred
  • Revenue Integrity, Billing, or Coding Certification is Required

Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration, or finance is required.
Master's degree in business management, business administration, or finance is preferred.

Experience
2 years of Revenue Integrity or Coding experience is required.
2 years of Epic EHR (Electronic Health Record) is preferred.
5 years of progressive leadership experience or equivalent is required.
5 years of Revenue Cycle related experience (i.e. Coding, CDI (Clinical Documentation Improvement), CDM (Charge Data Master), PFS (Patient Financial Services)) is required.
Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to the healthcare industry is required.
Hospital Billing (HB) experience is strongly preferred.
Experience working in an integrated healthcare delivery organization is preferred.
Experience in clinical healthcare provider settings as well as professional billing experience is preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Revenue Integrity, Billing and/or Coding related certification is required.
Certified Healthcare Compliance (CHC) is preferred.
