Description
System Test Engineer to work in NPG’s Radio Access Network System Integration & Test (SIT) team.
This position will need to test and debug complex systems composed of multiple connected nodes.
This role requires an ability to work independently as well as with peers and stakeholders typically including test and development engineers, system engineers and software architects. Domestic and international travel may be required for proof of concept demonstrations, execute interoperability testing at the partner’s premises or to support customers in trials.
Skill set:
Experience with Testing LTE or 5G products in a cabled environment, as well as over the air in a test network.
Excellent knowledge of 5G NR/LTE 3GPP standards, from physical layer through the protocol stack and core network in an O-RAN design.
Good to have
System troubleshooting and/or analytical skills with experience on Linux servers, Server Management, Virtualization, and Kubernetes
Troubleshooting and/or analytical skills with networking including routing, switching, and protocols
Experience supporting customers internally/externally
