Job description
Overall responsibility for developing strategic recruitment strategies and programs in support of AEVEX company goals, ensuring compliance with EEO laws and implementing best organizational practices while managing multi-site talent acquisition teams.
Essential Functions:
- Select, develop and motivate an engaged talent acquisition team to ensure performance metrics and overall talent needs are met
- Create metrics to maximize and align resources, analyze effectiveness of sources of hire and monitor recruiter performance, activity and requisition volume
- Develop and execute the full life cycle recruiting and selection process to support cross organizational AEVEX recruitment needs to include setting strategy, employment branding, candidate experience, manager experience, employee referral, social media, external and campus events
- Ensure a positive candidate experience is maintained by leading a high-quality recruitment, feedback and communication process
- Identify and maintain relationships and agreements with 3rd party external recruiting firms, social media accounts (LinkedIn, Glassdoor) and other job boards
- Partner effectively with HR Business Partners to:
- Foster supportive and effective customer relationships
- Develop and deliver interview and selection training to hiring managers and partners involved in the interview process
- Develop and manage a process for identifying internally qualified employees for opportunities and the implementation and management of a structured succession planning program
- Build a strong trusted advisor relationship with hiring managers across AEVEX leadership in order to proactively recognize and anticipate recruiting needs
- Understand changing business-critical needs and the ability to lead through priority changes in support of the business
- Manage the overall onboarding process to ensure compliance and consistency with onboarding and orienting employees
- Monitor applicant tracking requirement and notices to ensure AEVEX compliance
- Manage all executive recruiting
- If required, obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the job
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or other related discipline and 6-8 years of related experience in a government contracting environment or an equivalent combination of skills, education, and experience.
- Proven ability to develop relationships at all organizational levels and collaborate across geographic and organizational boundaries in order to successfully drive talent acquisition strategy
- Ability to analyze metrics and communicate analytical results
- Ability to successfully manage a geographically diverse team
- Demonstrate a flexible and adaptable style to successfully navigate competing priorities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Previous management of OCONUS recruitment requirements
- Previous management of a multi-geographic team of professionals
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time and project management skills, strong business acumen and effective process orientation and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic corporate environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft software applications and other software applications as required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret US Security Clearance, if required.
- Due to the sensitive and classified nature of the work we perform, US Citizenship is a requirement.
