The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (“The HARRIS CENTER”) is looking for a Talent Acquisition Sourcer to join our team. Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Talent Sourcer will be responsible to utilize different channels to search for potential candidates, reach passive candidates, and build talent pipelines for future employment needs. You will proactively recognize our hiring needs and assist us in filling our open vacancies with qualified workers.

What you will do:

• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the details positions that need support and overall hiring needs of the business
• Perform candidate sourcing to assist recruiting partners in building a diverse and robust pipeline for their positions
• Leverage a variety of passive sourcing methods, techniques and technologies to build a diverse slate of candidates and long-term pipelines
• Identify and clearly articulate the qualifications, strengths, and opportunities of candidates to hiring managers and full cycle recruiting partners
• Work with great recruiting team to identify larger industry trends
• Ensure that every candidate you interact with is having a positive experience with you and with the Agency

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent

• 3+ years of experience in recruiting with an emphasis on research and/or passive sourcing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of sourcing techniques, inclusive of boolean, data mining, professional networking, passive candidate prospecting and innovative social media sourcing strategies
• Demonstrated experience speaking with and assessing candidates’ skills and qualifications
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Decision making ability
