The Opportunity

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible to recruit “passive” and active candidates for Senior Mid-Level roles across each of our engineering disciplines by:

Proactively building and maintaining a network of candidate pools and pipeline, leveraging all available talent channels, including social media, professional associations and organizations, alumni groups, direct contacts, marketing events and additional creative networking strategies. Partner closely with internal stakeholders in developing and maintaining the network of qualified candidates.

Initiating and enhancing relationships with potential candidates, through direct contact, and develop plans to engage candidate pools.

At each stage of the recruiting process, capture data and create sourcing funnels to optimize strategic planning and reporting. Maintain records with accuracy and high data integrity.

Your day and week:

You can anticipate spending your days collaborating with managers to determine position requirements, writing job description and sourcing candidates, including virtual screenings.

Sourcing candidates using search engines, user groups, LinkedIn and social media.

Collaborating with managers to determine position requirements and qualifications.

Driving candidates to the management team while maintaining excellent candidate experiences.

Needed for the Opportunity:

7+ years sourcing or recruiting experience in the technical engineering industry, in a corporate, free-lance or agency setting.

Ability to use and develop creative sourcing strategies, including a discriminating approach to cold calls.

Successful track record on building pipelines and achieving targets, be those deadlines, recruiting goals or both.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The ability to contribute to conversations and feedback with Leadership and Hiring Managers including setting expectations regarding talent acquisition in the current market. Talking to salary issues and market demand.

Strong relationship and collaborative skills that build trust and credibility with candidates and staff.

Experience with sourcing and screening talent using industry leading recruiting tools, including social media platforms. Familiarity with or ability to learn Boolean search techniques to further sourcing prospects.
