Title: Talent Acquisition Associate
Department: People and Culture
Reports to: Senior Director, Talent Acquisition
Location: Remote (US or Canada based)
Salary Range: $53,000-64,5000 (salary is dependent on years of experience and location)

Summary of Responsibilities
The Talent Acquisition Associate will be responsible for recruiting and sourcing on assigned roles as well as full cycle recruiting as needed for a global organization. This person will need to be well-versed in all aspects of search including creative candidate sourcing, candidate generation and interviewing. This individual plays a key role in building the future of our company by collaborating with hiring managers, and recruiters to perform efficient talent sourcing from initial outreach to a candidate's first interview. This role is an important member of the Talent Acquisition team and will play a critical part of the recruiting process in building top of funnel talent. The Talent Acquisition Associate also understands Catalyst commitment and has demonstrated ways to build a diverse and inclusive workforce. This role reports to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition.

Essential Functions

  • Proactively conduct research and build innovative sourcing strategies for roles across Catalyst
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Lead to develop and execute sourcing strategies aimed at generating candidate flow to meet overall recruitment goals for current and upcoming openings
  • Phone screen candidates to assess skills, competencies, aptitude, cultural fit, compensation expectations and interest level
  • Leverage ATS (Applicant Tracking System) tool to build and maintain talent pools and relationships with prospective candidates
  • Provide weekly status reports regarding candidate pipeline status
  • Track conversion rates of sourced candidates that have advanced to interviews, offers and hires
  • Craft and send engaging recruiting emails / outreach
  • Identify new sourcing avenues to support diversity initiatives
  • Assist with the development of strategies to build deep and diverse talent pipelines including managing the applicant experience
  • Ensure effective candidate relationship management strategies are developed and utilized to build strong relationships with the passive candidate community
  • Contribute to providing an exceptional candidate experience
  • Utilize current employees and external networks for referrals

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years in recruitment, talent research/sourcing experience
  • Experience recruiting in-house or at an agency
  • Experience working with and influencing a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Experience developing and implementing diversity sourcing strategies
  • Experience building diverse candidate pools
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings, networks)
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) - ideally Greenhouse and other recruiting technologies
  • Demonstrated strong communication across the Talent function and to hiring teams within a business
  • Experience with metrics and utilizing data to track success and influence stakeholders
  • Passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, and outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, and work with confidential issues and data
