One Federal Solution has an immediate opening for a Contract Specialist to provide contract closeout services to support to our Federal Government client in Washington, D.C. Location: ED Headquarters, 400 Maryland Ave, SW, Washington DC 20202. An Active Public Trust is required for consideration. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities:
Minimum experience 7 years of government contract close-out experience (as a contractor or government employee.
Lead the Contracts and Acquisition Management (CAM) division with customized technical and management assistance at a scale of 400 – 600+ close-out actions per year.
Provide close-out support to include the following contract types: FirmFixed Price (FFP), Cost-Reimbursable (CR), Time-and-Materials (T&M), and Labor Hour (LH) contracts and agreements.
Coordinate with Contract Technical Representatives (COTR), ED CAM personnel, Defense Financial & Accounting Service (DFAS), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) (final audits), and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
Provide input for the preparation of briefings and spreadsheets, to include preparation of reports and graphics for ED management regarding contract close-out progress.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technical discipline related to the contract work requirements, such as business management, accounting, finance, etc.
