Summary/Objective

The Team Lead will help to transition new associate’s to the department through coaching, supervision, and additional training. This position will also take on various responsibilities throughout the department as assigned.

  • This role is responsible for assisting funders, underwriters and the team supervisor through coaching, instructions, additional training, and complex issues.
  • We are looking for a subject matter expert, who can drive processes across the team and communicate with associates and dealers while ensuring that all transactions are in accordance with state and federal regulations along with company policy and procedures.

Essential Functions

  • Assists agents in transition from training to a live environment.
  • Conducts coaching side by sides to identify areas of deficiency or strength.
  • Holds knowledge sessions to assure clarity and content of training materials.
  • Could fill in for a supervisor temporarily while on PTO.
  • Could assist in side by side and coaching opportunities for larger groups within a supervisor’s span of control.

Qualifications
*

  • High school diploma, undergraduate degree preferred
  • 1+ years of funding, underwriting, or sales experience, preferably in the auto industry
  • Strong understanding of auto loan contracts and supporting documentation
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Sound business judgment and an ability to learn on the fly
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Clear verbal and written communications, customer service, time management, and leadership skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must have computer skills, including, but not limited to, MS Windows, MS Office, and MS Outlook

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours vary by department and business need.

No travel is expected for this position.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
