Position Summary:
The Team Lead of Closing will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the closing team including but not limited to escrow officers and escrow processors.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and ability to handle a Real Estate transaction from receipt of contract to disbursement
  • Knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, legal documents, and real property law
  • Driven to efficiently use technology to streamline processes
  • Setting goals to ensure the proper review, processing, and closing of all real estate transactions
  • Monitor daily pipelines to ensure orders are distributed properly among team members to operate the team at maximum efficiency to meet client and budgetary goals
  • Conduct team meetings and training as needed.
  • Address transactional client issues as escalated
  • Assist with meeting staffing needs

  • Experience in working with large volume financial institutions on new tile orders for Single Family Residence and Rental, Origination, and Default market segments
  • Business and operational expertise in SFR, Default, and Origination title products and services
  • Reports directly to the Closing Manager and works in a team environment incented to win
  • 1-3 years of direct experience required
  • Highly motivated
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability and experience to manage people
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A high level of confidentiality to protect privacy rights

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or higher in the business-related field from an accredited four-year college or university preferred. Seven to ten years of related experience and/or training required.


Supervisory Responsibilities:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of their department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities following the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, performance review and management, recognition, and counseling employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.


Travel:
Some travel may be required.
