What You Will Achieve
Working with a dynamic team of Logistics and Supply Chain experts, you will play a critical role in planning, issuing and managing production schedules. With your planning skills, you’ll manage the material supply and demand to ensure a controlled flow of approved material and equipment based on the production and inventory requirements. Your coordination skills will help in interdepartmental planning activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic etc. You will be responsible for planning delivery of products to provide an uninterrupted flow of commodities, work-in-process and/or finished goods.
As a Team leader, you will be involved in managing work teams in a division, along with technical and financial resources of the team. You will coach your direct reports on day to day activities. and be relied on to solve complex problems within your area of expertise.

How You Will Achieve It
  • Manage multiple projects and ongoing work activities in the department typically involving cross-functional representatives.
  • Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time to meet agreed targets and develop plans for activities on own projects.
  • Develop inventory budget establishing quarterly and year-end inventory targets by inventory categories.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and integrate Inventory management into the core business process of stakeholder groups.
  • Report inventory on a monthly (to site) and quarterly basis (to global logistics) and prepare analytical reports on deviations.
  • Facilitate the Distressed Inventory (DI) process and ensure material is identified and reserved, issue the site DI report quarterly to corporate inventory reporting.
  • Develop and identify opportunities for continuous improvement to improve systems, reporting and forecasting, to support business decisions related to inventory management.
  • Serves as a key audit contact for inventory and manage compliance with all regulatory guidelines, documentation requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Act as first line troubleshooting SME for Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and process related issues, provide necessary training to team to support data and ERP systems troubleshooting.
  • Maintain master data and training requirement data , track implement changes and follow up for the appropriate documentation in compliance with Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
  • Aid in providing hands-on, individual and group training(s) as needed for all user levels and develop training modules/protocols/walk-through guides accordingly.
  • Guide and motivate team in accomplishing their tasks while ensure they have the necessary tools, information and training.
  • Manage the performance of direct reports through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching.

Qualifications
Must-Have
  • Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
  • OR an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience
  • OR a bachelors with at least 3+ years of experience
  • OR Masters with more than 1+ year of experience.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of SAP (ERP materials planning systems).
  • Experience with data analysis (creation of trending reports/metrics).
  • Good written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with DEA-222 Forms and handling of DEA documentation
  • Experience in LabWare information system (LIMS), LIMS Basic Coding.
  • People management experience.
  • Experience in Applications, Laboratory or Systems administration in pharma industry.

Able to gather, analyze and interpret information and identify cause and effect relationships.
