A full time Team Leader position at Fairmount Primary Care Center at Sharon Hill is available. The Team Leader will be overseeing the Clinical Patient Specialists in their clinical and administrative duties. The position will also be responsible for supporting the Health Center Manager in achieving common operational goals.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversees the supporting staff in their clinical and clerical duties
- Actively participates in administering the disciplinary process
- Coordinates daily schedules of Clinical Patient Specialists to ensure appropriate coverage for providers
- Assists with chart audits and collection of clinical measures data
- Oversees the completion of laboratory paperwork to ensure timely billing
- Provides training to Clinical Patient Specialists in conjunction with Clinical Education
- Schedules appointments, registers patients and answer phones as needed
- Checks vital signs, takes chief complaints
- Assists with exams, treatments, and obtaining reports from other medical providers as needed
- Orders and maintains supplies and equipment in examination rooms
- Attends Provider meetings, as required
- Works effectively with all Team Leaders toward common health center goals
- Completes other duties as requested by the providers and Health Center Manager
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Graduated from an accredited medical assisting program. Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communications skills are required.
- Excellent analytical skills are required.
- Prior knowledge of the various insurance plans in which the organization participates is preferred.
