Whippernock is a small business/ ma' and pop convenience store, gas station, marina, bait shop, quick food service, and campground. We are most popular for our hot dogs and barbeques! We stay busy afternoons and weekends during the summer months. Our job includes a little bit of everything. If you enjoy fast pace country life, working together as a team, fishing, camping, and hunting then this is the place for you.

Store Operating Hours: Daylight to dark. We have opening shift (daylight- 1pm or 2pm), mid-day shifts (8am-3pm or 11am-7pm), closing shift (12pm or 1pm- dark). Some Saturday mornings we open earlier for fishing tournaments

Our job duties include: stocking, cleaning, preparing food (hot dogs and barbeques), cashier, ordering, merchandising, pricing, paperwork, collecting admission, answering phone, scheduling overnight campers, getting bait for customers (minnows/crickets)

Requirements:

• 21 or older
• reliable vehicle/ ride to work
• YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS AND SUMMER HOLIDAYS. NO ACCEPTIONS.

We rotate all of our employees schedules. There is no set schedule for anyone. Schedule is made two weeks in advance. We are most busiest in the afternoons and on weekends especially during the summer months and holidays. If you can't work weekends, don't apply.
