Relationship building is key!

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Represents SFI with potential candidates.
    • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled, meets with Project Managers to discuss hiring requirements and candidate status reporting.
    • Builds relationships with placement agencies to assist with the recruitment process.
    • Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
    • Attends job fairs and industry conferences; runs company booth at job fairs (Online job fairs, college recruitment functions until after reopening post Covid)
  • Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
  • Drafts recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective online sources for open positions.
  • Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
  • Conducts preliminary interviews with recruits to gauge interest, personality, and salary requirements.
  • Provides feedback to management about details regarding applications and connects qualified candidates with hiring managers by scheduling interviews.
  • Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Previous experience interviewing and assessing potential hires for technology positions.
  • Experience in the continual development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates.
  • Proficiency in using software and online databases to connect with and reach out to potential candidates. Including scheduling interviews emailing, messaging, scheduling, and tracking/reporting.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.
  • Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any technical questions a potential hire may have. Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles, and technical skills.
  • Proficiency working within the Google Platform and Paylocity (or related ATS).

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources field preferred or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of related recruiting experience required, with prior experience in technical roles preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for federal contracts / clients a plus

All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment, and Credit History.

Other Information:

  • The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $70,000 annually.
