Ag Processing Inc has an excellent opportunity at our Dawson, MN office for a temporary Accounting Associate!The person in this critical role will be responsible for accounting associate functions to support the soy processing group.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing daily invoices in partnership with merchandisers.
• Prepare daily balance sheets by resolving discrepancies with plants.
• Enter and reconcile daily/ new contracts from merchandisers utilizing Excel.
• Reconcile monthly freight and brokerage expenses.
• Communicate with management, co-workers, customers, and outside business contacts.

Requirements:

• Previous accounting and general clerical experience preferred (required for Senior level).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with management, merchandisers, and co-workers
• Proficient skill in using Microsoft Office products
• Effective analytical, problem solving, planning and organization skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates degree preferred
