Job description
The HRIS Assistant is responsible for all administrative coordination and automation processes used by the Human Resources Department. Serves as administrator of the HRIS System and related data. The HRIS Assistant is the primary contact for HR staff regarding employee data. Assists in the compliance of policies and procedures, including all applicable federal and state regulations. This position will play a key role in insuring all data is accurate, up-to-date and reportable. Responsible for data entry into the HRIS systems. Assists in the preparation of quarterly metric reports and specialized reports.

Position Responsibilities:
HRIS:
- Responsible for data entry into Epicor HCM system including adding new employees, updating required employee information, performance appraisals, and preparing standard and ad-hoc reports for all locations.
- Assisting in creating new position and job codes.
- Responsible for review of data as entered by Managers/Employees/HR using standard and ad-hoc reports.
- Be an integral part of a process improvement team to improve our HR Systems.
- Works closely with Payroll in resolving pay issues and auditing payroll data.
- Assist with filing of all personnel changes paperwork and personnel files.
- Administer Tuition Reimbursement program including reviewing applications, completing invoices and partnering with Fiscal to get checks to employees in timely manner.
- Support applicant tracking system, position management, and other functionalities identified by the HRIS team
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree preferred.
- 1+ years’ experience in a Human Resources department strongly preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills, communication, verbal, written, interpersonal skills required.
- Strong analytical capabilities, organizational skills and attention to detail required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and multi-task functions using sound judgment required.
- Highest regard for confidentiality required.
- Proficient with Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
