TITLE: Thrift Cashier
DEPARTMENT: Thrift Shop
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt/part-time
REPORTS TO: Operations Director & On Site Thrift Supervisor

Summary
This is a year-round part-time position to assist with customer service and material handling responsibilities on the sales floor of our busy Thrift Shop. Shifts include weekday and weekend hours to meet the needs of the Thrift Shop.

Highlights of Thrift Cashier Essential Functions include:

● Greet customers on the sales floor
● Handle customer transactions at the register
● Process material while monitoring sales area
● Tag material as directed by the supervisor on duty
● Place new merchandise onto the sales floor
● Clean and sanitize following work chart

Essential Functions

● Strong organizational skills
● Strong customer service skills
● Ability to multitask in a busy Thrift Store setting
● Maintain a team philosophy promoting and embracing the FISH Philosophy.
● All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma preferred; minimum age of 16 for high school aged employees.
Experience: Working in a customer service environment; compensation based on experience level.
