PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Tear down, assemble and clean molds according to ISO, GMP and OSHA standards.
• Work with Engineering and Tooling when repairing damaged mold components.
• Ensure supplies needed to clean, tear down and assemble molds are maintained in inventory.
• Document instructions for safe mold tear down, assembly and cleaning.
• Identify and label proper configuration of mold components for proper assembly of parts.
• Work with vendors or service providers.
• Stage, receive and ship molds.
• Create MWO’s for cleaning and maintenance.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on molds to include putting pipes/fittings on mold and hydraulic lines. Test for water and hydraulic leaks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of ISO, GMP and OSHA standards.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to time manage, multitask, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Must have attention to detail.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Tooling experience
• IQMS experience
• Experience with cross-functional teams and participation.

ADA Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move about frequently
• Occasional repetitive motion and grasping
• Occasional climbing to reach areas on machines or racks
• Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently
• Typically sits, grasps items or performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
• Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection
