Atlas Copco is seeking a Regional Team Leaders who will be responsible for overseeing Atlas Copco Tools and Assembly Systems Tool Management Centers Supervisors and Technicians. The Regional Team Leader will have multiple TMCs in the region reporting to them and will directly report to our Operations Manager - TMC.

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to stay remarkably organized; overseeing, strategizing, and performance benchmarking for the designated region. Being an independent, persistent self-starter with complete product knowledge of Atlas Copco equipment and technology services will enable our candidate to excel in this role. This position can be performed remotely, reporting to our Auburn Hills, Michigan customer center and will require 50% travel nationally at minimum with frequent visits to customer manufacturing locations expected.

What we expect of you

• Four year technical or business management degree is preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ of previous management experience required
• Preferred 3 years’ experience in a production environment working with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling or data collection systems
• Able to negotiate, understand, and execute obligations of a service contract
• Superior knowledge of Atlas Copco fastening tools, torque theory and fastening knowledge required
• Knowledge of tool maintenance, calibration concepts, operational scheduling models, and tool database management required
• Sound understanding of process management, inventory control, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction
• Being customer centric and knowledgeable when interfacing directly with the customer or potential customers
• Ability to effectively and efficiently resolve tooling, production, and/or personnel issues
• Effective and accurate documentation of various scenarios including but not limited to employee performance, employee disciplinary situations, employee development activities, customer interactions, etc.
• Identify and acquire significant training for entire team (Site Managers and Technicians)
• Ability to lead and manage employees while supporting direct reports and their teams’ to ensure accountability for implemented strategies, objectives, goals and other initiatives
• Practical leadership style and desire for continuous learning concepts
• Ability to identify team strengths and opportunity areas and create development plans in conjunction with this information
• Establish and maintain technical knowledge levels to meet the requirements of the contract to best support customer needs and meet company goals
• Resourceful and innovative approach, find customer focused solutions and challenges the conventional way of business
• Ability to analyze current processes, procedures, and other strategies and determine innovative/alternative methods for improvement
