Job description
In this role, you'll need to troubleshoot, repair, and resolve any issues related to injection molding, tooling, and presses. We'll also need you to review and repair any quality issues relating to injection mold tooling.
In order to be qualified and considered for the role, you'll need the following:
- Three to five years of past experience working in a plastics Manufacturing Environment
- We'll need you to set up and operator all equipment in the General tool room
- Experience reading engineering drawings
- Read blueprints and use necessary measuring devices to make, modify existing tooling.
- Ability to create high-quality, tight tolerance parts.
- English speaking
- Knowledge and experience with CNC and EDM
- Experience with Metal Drawing/Forming Processes
- Knowledge of Injection Mold Process/Tooling
- Good mathematical skills.
- Experience with Common Molding Resins
- Journeyman Card and a High School Diploma or GED
You should be proficient in:
- Manual Machining Skills
- Tool/Die/Mold Repair Skills
