Job description
The road to a great career starts with Saia!
Performs data entry for order and load tracking and tracing. Performs customer service representative functions with clients and vendors for tracking of freight and general customer service. Determines whether to notify someone of delayed freight or to involve them in claims on late or damaged freight. Communicates with load planners to accomplish support functions and stay on task. Manages the call center ticketing process: creates tickets for new calls or adds to information on existing calls from previous points in the supply chain. Runs daily and weekly tracking reports. Performs other related duties, as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates Degree or relevant experience with exposure to transportation- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Experience in tracking, tracing, and data entry
- Ability to multi-task and produce results under pressure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
