As a member of the SC Managed team you’ll be a Generalist Trade Specialist, but also play different roles throughout the day - ranging from strategic to tactical to pitching in when the team needs all hands-on deck. This position is responsible for delivering experienced facilities support focused on retail, grocery/supermarket, fuel and restaurant clients. You are a great teammate who can wear multiple hats and come up with creative solutions to new problems.
Where you’ll make an impact:
Developing the SCM Solution: you’ll own provider and client outcomes through SCM Trade Specialist solution. Each person on the team will use ServiceChannel software tools, and detailed process flows that combine to deliver better quality faster at a lower cost for ServiceChannel Managed Clients
We’re looking for a motivated and curious individual that not only possess strong trade skills, knowledge and experience but also has experience in handling multiple work orders in a high paced environment. Well qualified candidates should also have in their background experience in customer support, service delivery or account management for a services business, as well as a strong ability to work cross functionally to support the needs of SC Managed Clients and Providers.
Key Responsibilities
Review all proposals submitted to ensure accuracy for our clients and adhere to proposal submission SLAs
Focus on labor hours, parts, material mark-up, etc. so our goal of most driven pricing for our clients is fulfilled
Strong attention to detail in comparing original repair request vs providers diagnosis and recommended scope of work for repair resolution to ensure the solution fits the need.
Work collaboratively and cross-functionally during RFPs to ensure all questions are answered clearly and accurately
Use trade knowledge and background to evaluate complicated work tasks for clients with multiple locations requiring service or projects
Review all work where the scope goes beyond normal repairs or established not to exceed (NTEs) and provide timely approvals
Ensure all of the information that’s needed for the technicians to do their work is captured in a clear and concrete way
Update and document work order information in a timely fashion throughout the work order’s lifecycle
Collaborate with internal teams during client meetings and presentations
Learn and apply the standard operating procedures as well as identifying ways to improve them
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years working in the following trades: Electrical, General Repairs, HVAC, Plumbing & Refrigeration ideally in a grocery, restaurant or retail setting.
An easygoing interpersonal style and ability to work and build relationships with a wide range of people
Strong verbal and written professional skills; ability to compile and present data, insights, and recommendations to different audiences, including executives
Ability to lead by influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong prioritization skills are required, with the ability to manage multiple projects and proposals
Experience within the Customer Service field
Highly detail oriented
Inventive, creative and solution-oriented demeanor in ambiguous situations
Nice to Haves
Experience with Facilities Management, ideally in a grocery, restaurant or retail setting
