The Bennett Family of Companies is seeking a full-time Transportation Leasing Specialist at our Corporate Headquarters located in McDonough, GA. The Leasing Specialist I provides support within the driver on-boarding process through obtaining and executing lease agreements and inputting accurate driver and equipment data into required Bennett systems. The position will also provide support to all Bennett operating units through the processing of driver and equipment lease terminations and transfers.
Duties:
- Prepare, execute, and index lease agreements for drivers on-boarding with an operation within the Bennett Family of Companies.
- Driver and equipment data entry into Bennett systems.
- Collect and index appropriate documents required for equipment additions, lease updates, transfers, and lease terminations.
- Maintain accurate information in Bennett systems in the event of equipment additions, lease updates, transfers, and lease terminations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in the transportation industry with experience in data entry, driver on-boarding, safety, and FMCSA compliance a plus but not required.
- Must be skilled in critical thinking and accurate data entry.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks, complete them with the highest quality, and ensure efficiency across all job functions.
- Must be proficient in MS Office, comfortable navigating the internet and email, and able to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems.
- Experience working within AS400 a plus.
