Summary:

This job is primarily responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements of individuals to determine degree of risk involved in extending credit. In addition, they should also assist customers with obtaining credit from lending agencies.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
• Use computer programs to evaluate customers' financial status.
• Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions.
• Compare liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of individuals.
• Confer with bank representatives to assist customer with obtaining lending.
• Assist customers with loan applications, including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests, and submit to loan committees for approval.
• Evaluate customer records and recommend loan products based on earnings, savings data, payment history, and purchase activity.
• Evaluate customer information to verify identity and financial documents to protect the company against fraudulent transactions.
• Provide Finance Manager with customer’s sales package for submission to finance department for deal completion.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of computers and programs such as Microsoft Office applications, Dealer socket, Route One, and CDK
• Experience in automobile industry is required. Prior auto finance experience is strongly prefered.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
