Job description

As a Teller, you will be responsible for interacting with customers in a friendly and helpful manner. You will work directly with the bank’s officers and gain experience as you complete regular transactions. Telling involves providing information, accepting deposits and making withdrawals. This is an excellent way to get a start in the banking industry. As a teller, you are a key part of the business and have the opportunity to make an impact on your community. Responsibilities:

• Process cash and non-cash transactions in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies.
• Provide daily administration (deposits, withdrawals, etc.).
• Assist in cash management procedures and anti-money laundering programs.
• Perform other administrative tasks (e.g. order bank supplies, prepare cash shipments and reconcile daily records).
• Process paperwork related to new accounts and loans.
• Answer customer inquiries or refer to appropriate person.
• Complete bank transactions such as cashing checks, issuing money orders and wire transfers.
• Keep accurate records of company activity (e.g., cash balances, transaction and account histories).
• Receive and process incoming payments (e.g., utility bills).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
