Job description
Provides general support to the University Center at Harper College related to scheduling student appointments for advising. Provides high quality customer service to students, faculty and staff.
Provides reception for the University Center. Greets visitors, answers telephone, takes and distributes messages and provides information as appropriate.
Schedules and maintains appointments in scheduling software.
Distributes transfer guides, program overviews, promotional and informational packets. Provides students with other resource materials as needed.
Tracks student contacts, confirms appointments for University Center and Partner school representatives.
Assist with events such as online and in person information sessions, Harper College general sessions and campus wide activities.
Assist Partner Schools as needed.
Assist with University Center tours.
Helps maintain University Center resources and inventory.
Follows privacy and confidentiality guidelines with student record information.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience Requirement: Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using different technology/software platforms and familiarity with student systems preferred.
